Directions:
Hidden Haven is located 5 miles West of Thayer, KS. Look for the signs along the way.
From the NE and SE: Take Hwy 169 to Thayer. Turn West onto Watermelon Rd (by Big Ed's Steakhouse) in Thayer and go almost 5 miles. Turn South at Hidden Haven Rd and follow the road 3/4 mile into the camp.
From the W, NW and SW: Take Hwy 75 to Altoona. Turn East on Hwy 47 for 5 miles. Turn South on Wichita Rd for 2.5 miles. Turn East on 850 Rd. and travel about a mile to Hidden Haven Rd. and turn South. Follow the road for another 3/4 mile into the camp.
In the event of heavy rain, please take into consideration our low-water bridge across Little Chetopa Creek at the entrance to the camp. The bridge can be impassable due to heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross if substantial water is coming over the bridge. Contact the office if you have any concerns.
