The list of fun activities to do here is definitely not short! Campers will have a blast in the new, huge pool with a large shallow end, a 10 ft. deep end with diving board, and the awesome water slide that sends campers rapidly down a 4 turn chute and empties into the 3 ft shallow end with a big splash! The camp also features a mini-golf course, basketball courts, volleyball, swings, jungle gym, recreation hall with ping pong and carpet ball, ball fields for ultimate frisbee, softball, frisbee golf, an obstacle course, a lake and creek for fishing, and paddle boating!  Older campers may participate in group games and initiatives that teach team work and leadership skills. Evenings at camp are also filled with fun participating in talent shows, concerts, worship, and night games!

What sound could be more beautiful than that of a huge group of kids lifting their voices in unison to worship God! Worship services are a foundational element at each week of camp. Age-appropriate bands and worship leaders lead the campers in fantastic worship to help focus their hearts and minds on our Savior. This is followed by a wonderful message given by the speaker for the week. Worship services are held in an open-air chapel surrounded by the beauty of God's glorious creation. This creates the perfect setting for campers to escape thebusy world around them and fully fix their eyes on God and worshiping Him!

Hidden Haven is situated on 41 secluded acres 5 miles West of Thayer, KS. The beauty of God's creation is evident by the gorgeous scenery one will see when visiting or attending the camp. Green fields, rolling hills, and a sparkling lake surrounded by large, beautiful trees complete the canvas of nature that God has painted here. This picturesque setting is the perfect place for campers to get away and renew their walk with God!

Hidden Haven was established near Thayer, Kansas in 1948 by five area churches. It has since grown to include around 60 Independent Christian churches from southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. The camp is incorporated as a 501C3 non-profit organization led by a Board comprised of ministers and two lay people from each supporting congregation. We work hand in hand with our churches to provide a place where our children learn and grow in their faith through a week full of the teaching of God's Word combined with good Christian fellowship and fun.
